The level of harmony achieved when concrete and steel are incorporated in a single design is, well, drop dead sexy.
It's when two of the most well-tested materials, true to their form and simple in aesthetic, create a type of industrial chic moment. Both ingredients have been used to achieve modern and brutalist forms in architecture and design. One of our favorite custom WAMCO fabrication moments was the concrete and steel table built for Michael Del Piero for the Lake Forest Show House - where a simple piece of furniture brought a new level of elegance to an office space.
Synergy is defined as 'the interaction or cooperation of two or more organizations, substances, or other agents to produce a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects.' Sounds about right. Here are some of our favorite highlights of a combo well done.
