We recently installed a steel-clad wall and steel-clad fireplace in a Chicago condo.
Complete with trim, the wall serves as a subtle statement while providing dramatic contrast in an otherwise bright, white-walled gathering space. This is the perfect, minimal, and tastefully modern solution for those who don't know what to do on the wall behind the television (a tv will be mounted soon), as it doesn't become visually chaotic but still provides an element of thoughtful design on such a focal wall.
